We love the campground in New Jersey (believe it or not!) It has an outdoor water park, a huge pool and a beautiful lake with a beach. We went to the shore for a day and Atlantic City for the first time! Ray and I enjoyed a date night dinner at The Palm restaurant and the next night we took the kids to the Steel Pier and coincidentally got to help celebrate it's centennial anniversary!

We had fun visiting Ray's firehouse... well, sort of. We saw a beautiful rainbow out front, but saw a big, fat rat in back! I was NOT happy... and this is a brand, new firehouse that JUST finished construction!!! Kelly, my niece, came with us for a week of travelling.

It was fun being a tourist in Annapolis, our old hometown! We visited the Naval Academy and walked around downtown in the harbor.

We had a great night picking crabs with Uncle Joe, Uncle Rich, Aunt Kim and Grandma Barbara. It's our favorite dinner when we are in Maryland!

We went to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown on a camping trip to Virginia this summer. What a great time! The kids really did take away a lot of information- they must take after Ray (he has his history degree from Maryland!) Here are a few pictures.

We adopted "Duke" from the Humane Society and he is a big doll! He is a great family dog and we just love him. (We are still devout Terrapin fans, but the name Duke just stuck!)
