This has been a fabulous summer! We had five weeks vacation and visited six states plus Washington D.C.! LOADS of family time and now we are ready for a routine as school started this week! Enjoying a beautiful sunset at Myrtle Beach! The girls wanted to make sure they didn't get their shorts wet after seeing Nicholas pull his up! Nicholas is trying not to get his clothers wet- didn't work! He was dripping wet by the time we left! Where's Mom? Well, somebody had to take the picture! What a good big brother! Daddy's little girl! Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach. Nicholas and Kayla were having a great time! Poor Krista was too small for most of the rides! Boogie boards were a big hit, even for Kayla! Nicholas named his boogie board "Tiki!" Peter (my cousin), Gary (my brother) and Ray with the little ones! Lemon Drop Shooters with Peter and Mom! Enjoying Carowinds with extended family! We have spent so much time with each other this summer and I know it has made an impression on our kids. I hope they remember the little things like playing the board game Life and making s'mores on the campfire as much or more than the amusement parks and other big ticket items! We bought our friend's boat and now have another family adventure: tubing! The kids love it and it is nice to get out on the water! We miss Annapolis! Krista loves getting out on the water, but we haven't had her in the tube yet!

The kids had fun visiting Daddy at work this summer! They used to go all the time and it had been a year!
