Nicholas and Spencer had a blast playing in the sand in Tampa just after Christmas! They called themselves the "mud men!" Spencer, Nicholas and Kayla had fun at Mormor (grandma) and Grandpa's neighborhood pool! Spencer lost his first tooth in Florida (see picture!) The tooth fairy found us down here, but somehow left five dollars and then put the tooth in Mommy's wallet... Spencer found it there later! We still can't quite figure out why the tooth fairy would leave the tooth for Mommy there! Caught in the act of actually LIKING each other! It happens every now and then! Picking lemons in their grandparents backyard! Time for lemonade! The boys love to show off their muscles! Krista was way too busy to stop for the camera. It was almost impossible to get her picture! This is the only one we have of her at the beach!

CHRISTMAS 2006 AT THE GRETZ HOUSE! Christmas morning and Nicholas is actually HAPPY he got socks! OK, they are special hockey socks and anything hockey-related rates! Nicholas is a music fanatic already at nine years old and an iPod was his big gift from Mom and Dad- Santa is not getting credit for that one!

Kayla got a TuTu for Christmas along with every Barbie doll Mattel ever made. She is "girl" all the way! We saw The Nutcracker live this season and now wants to be a ballerina when she grows up... OR a princess she tells me!
Spencer was very excited that Santa came! He woke Kayla up at 4am and attempted to raid what was underneath the tree with flashlights in hand! I woke up to the excited pitter-patter and foiled the plan (I think it went something like, ME: "SPENCER!!! WHAT in the world are you thinking! It's 4:07 in the morning! Get back in bed NOW!" Spencer: "Oh, I thought the clock said 7:04am."
Parenthood is not for cowards, nor is it for anyone that likes their rest!
Krista was really into Christmas this year! She wanted no help opening presents and was excited to see that Santa found our house! SHE slept in until almost 9am! Now that's a good kid! :-)
Christmas was crazy-busy hosting 27 people for dinner (that is NOT a typo, but it does include kids!) I stopped for a moment to smile with Krista, my cutie-pituty! Unfortunately we don't have a lot of pictures! I am the photographer of the family and was on KP duty!
