Ray and I went to the Centex Holiday party in Charlotte at the Mint Museum. It is nice to get dressed up every once in a while and go out without kids! Wendy and I flew to NYC to celebrate Diane's 50th birthday party. We splurged and spent a night at the Marriott Marquis and enjoyed views of Times Square! Nice sister weekend! The kids were trying hard to smile for our Christmas picture... you will see the final shot in our Christmas card... if I ever get them mailed!!! Krista just loves her Daddy! December first and the countdown to Christmas begins! The kids can't wait and are eagerly making their Christmas lists. Ahhh, the holiday season! We are all really excited to spend our first Christmas in our new house... well, considering Ray and I have owned five houses and rented several others in our 12 years of marriage, it is almost always celebrating Christmas for the first time wherever we are! We plan to stay in this one for a LONG time! We might even be serious this time! The craziness of the move and all the big changes have been well worth it! Ray is doing well with his travel schedule and the kids are doing well in school. Kayla and Krista are enjoying me being home a lot and I am spending only two days a week working. The adjustment has been very easy overall (although upnpacking is always a nightmare!) It is SO nice to have my nieces and nephews over and have big family dinners on the spur of the moment. An eight minute drive versus an eight hour drive! Gary (my brother) went skydiving a few weeks ago and his picture from that dive is now on the advertisements!
